पति सहित ससुरालजनों पर दहेज प्रताडऩा का मामला दर्ज

शहर डबवाली ने चौहान नगर निवासी सुरेंद्र कुमार की विवाहिता पुत्र कामिनी की शिकायत पर उसके पति सहित अन्य ससुरालजनों के खिलाफ दहेज प्रताडऩा का मामला दर्ज किया है।पीडि़ता ने अपनी शिकायत में बताया कि उसका विवाह रामपुराफूल (जिला बठिंडा) निवासी मुनीष पुत्र नरेश कुमार राजौरा के साथ 26 अप्रैल 2021 को हुआ था। उसके परिजनों ने सगाई के समय लगभग डेढ़ लाख रुपये खर्च किया और विवाह के समय लगभग 15 लाख रुपये खर्चें। विवाह के बाद ससुरालजनों ने कम दहेज का ताना मारना शुरू कर दिया। कहने लगे कि उनकी हैसियत के अनुसार दहेज नहीं दिया।

छह माह बाद ससुरालजनों ने दहेज में गाड़ी की मांग करनी शुरू कर दी तथा जून-21 में उसे मारपीट कर घर से बाहर निकाल दिया। इसके बाद हुई पंचायत में आरोपियों ने माफी मांगी। इसके बाद कुछ दिन सामान्य रहें लेकिन फिर से मारपीट की और एक कमरे में बंद कर दिया। इसी दौरान जब वह गर्भवती हुई तो कहने लगे कि तांत्रिक ने गर्भ में बेटी बताई है, इसे गिरवा दें। पुलिस ने शिकायत के आधार पर पति मुनीष कुमार, ससुर नरेश कुमार, सास सुनीता, जेठ नीतिश के खिलाफ भादंसं की धारा 498ए, 323, 406, 506, 34 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है।

They started saying that according to their status, dowry was not given. Six months later, the in-laws started demanding a car in dowry and in June-21, beat her up and threw her out of the house. After this, the accused apologized in the panchayat. After this, it was normal for a few days but again beaten up and locked in a room. During this, when she became pregnant, she started saying that the tantrik has told a daughter in the womb, get it killed. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against husband Munish Kumar, father-in-law Naresh Kumar, mother-in-law Sunita, brother-in-law Nitish under sections 498A, 323, 406, 506, 34 of IPC.
