सार्वजनिक शौचालय की हालत को लेकर दुकानदारों ने नगर परिषद डबवाली के प्रति आक्रोश किया व्यक्त

डबवाली।नगर परिषद डबवाली एक ऐसा सरकारी कार्यालय है जो हमेशा किसी न किसी बात को लेकर विवादों में ही रहा है या यूं कह दीजिए कि अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों की लापरवाही की बदौलत यहां के लोगों को मामूली से काम के लिए भी संघर्ष करने को मजबूर होना पड़ता है।बिना संघर्ष किए नगर परिषद में बैठे अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को आमजन की समस्याएं दिखाई नहीं देती। शहर के विभिन्न इलाकों और बाजारों में बने सार्वजनिक शौचालयों की हालत अत्याधिक दयनीय हैं। इनका प्रयोग करने का मतलब है बीमारियों को न्यौता देना जैसा है। एक तरफ जहां कोरोना की तीसरी लहर ओमीक्रॉन से तेजी से आबो हवा में फैल रहा है तो वहीं सार्वजनिक शौचालयों में पड़ी गंदगी और टूटे हुए उपकरणों के कारण आमजन को खासी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। मेन बाजार में स्थित भंडारी मैडीकल हाल के सामने नगर परिषद द्वारा कई वर्ष पहले सुलभ शौचालय का निर्माण किया गया था लेकिन इस शौचालय की हालत अत्याधिक खराब है तो वहीं ठीक से सफाई न होने के कारण इसमें प्रवेश तक करना मुशिकल हो गया है। शौचालय की हालत को लेकर अनेक बार यहां के दुकानदार नगर परिषद से गुहार लगा चुके हैं लेकिन नगर परिषद द्वारा इसका समाधान न किए जाने के कारण मंगलवार को दुकानदारों ने परिषद के प्रति जहां आक्रोश व्यक्त किया और अधिकारियों से मुलाकात कर इस समस्या का समाधान करने की बात कही। इस इलाके के दुकानदार नरेश कुमार, पवन कुमार, प्रदीप कुमार वरूण, कृष्ण लाल, ज्ञान चंद, छिंदा सहित समाजसेवी तरसेम कुमार ने बताया कि इस सुलभ शौचालय की नियमित रूप से सफाई न होने के कारण यहां खड़ा रह पाना मुशिकल है तो वहीं दरवाजे टूट चुके हैं और भीतर लघु शंका के लिए कोई उचित स्थान तक नहीं है। यही नहीं महिलाओं के लिए यहां कोई सुविधा तक नहीं है। उन्होंने बताया कि अनेक बार नगर परिषद के अधिकारियों को लिखित व मौखिक रूप से इस समास्या का समाधान करवाने के लिए गुहार लगा चुके हैं लेकिन समास्या का समाधान करने के लिए अधिकारियों द्वारा कोई कदम नहीं उठाया गया। अधिकारियों की लापरवाही के कारण समाजसेवी तरसेम कुमार मंगलवार को शौचालय को ताला लगा कर वहां धरने पर बैठ गए। उनका कहना था कि जब तक परिषद के अधिकारियों इस समस्या का समाधान नहीं करते वह यहां नहीं उठेंगे। सांय चार बजे तक कोई भी अधिकारी यहां आश्वासन तक देने नहीं आया।

Many times the shopkeepers here have appealed to the city council regarding the condition of the toilet, but due to non-resolving of it by the city council, on Tuesday, the shopkeepers expressed their indignation towards the council and met the officials to solve the problem.
